Two Men Face Charges In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack

Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was a standalone event and not being treated as terrorism – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
